Rain, a financial wellness benefit platform that offers early wage access, has raised $66M in Series A funding led by QED Investors and Invus Opportunities. Founded by Alex Bradford, Gilberto Garcia, and Jennifer Terrell in 2019, Rain has now raised a total of $78.6M in reported equity funding.
Miso Robotics – $15M
Miso Robotics, the creators of the robotic chef,, has raised $15M in funding according to a recent SEC filing. The filing indicates that the total offering is for $54M and that this close comes from a sole investo. Founded by Buck Jordan, David D. Zito, Robert Anderson, and Ryan Sinnet in 2017, Miso Robotics has now raised a total of $101.3M in reported equity funding.

Mad Rabbit, a tattoo aftercare brand, has raised $10M in Series A funding from investors that include Mark Cuban, Acronym Venture Capital, H Venture Partners, and LB Equity. Founded by Oliver Zak and Selom Agbitor in 2019, Mad Rabbit has now raised a total of $20.3M in reported equity funding.
Giadzy – $5M
Giadzy, the online merchant of Italian ingredients and food couples with lifestyle content, has raised $5M in Seed funding led by Defy.vc. Giadzy was founded by chef and TV personality Giada De Laurentiis in 2016.
Rwazi – $4M
Rwazi, an emerging markets market intelligence platform, has raised $4M in Seed funding from investors that include Alumni Ventures, Newfund, and Bonfire Ventures. Founded by Eric Sewankambo and Joseph Rutakangwa in 2021, Rwazi has now raised a total of $7.8M in reported equity funding.

Ocra – $1.5M
Ocra, a demand and inventory management platform for parking operators, has raised $1.5M in funding according to a recent SEC filing. The filing indicates that the total offering is for $3M and there were six investors in the close. Founded by Ethan Glass, Nathan Dunning in 2018, Ocra has now raised a total of $2.5M in reported equity funding.
Filmustage – $550K
Filmustage, an AI platform for the film industry that breaks down scripts, has raised $550K in venture funding from investors that include Flyer One Ventures, Geek Ventures, Vesta Capital, and IMAGURU Startup Hub. Filmustage was founded by Andrei Karalkou and Egor Dubrovsky in 2020.
