Wheels, the urban mobility startup, has closed its Series A funding, which was reported earlier in the year, at $38.57M according to a recent SEC filing. $2.7M of this amount is from a SAFE note and the remainder in equity. Confirmed investors in the round include Tenaya Capital, Naval Ravikant, Crosscut Ventures, Bullpen Capital, 3L Capital, and Marcy Venture Partners. Wheels was founded by Chris Stavlas (Lyft), Jonathan Viner (Wag!), and Joshua Viner (Wag!) in 2018.
