Sidestep
Founded by Eric Jones and Petie Pizzaro, NYC-based Sidestep is a platform for live events that allows users to buy and browse concert merchandise before, during and after a show. Given the challenges in the music space, a larger portion of an artist’s income is now derived from merchandise and this represents the multibillion-dollar market that Sidestep is attacking. The company seems well along its having raised a previous seed round last year and recently announcing a partnership with Ticketmaster.
